| The staff encourage our valued residents to exercise
choice wherever possible, allowing them to participate
fully in the running of the home and in the activities
of the local community.
Personal care is given to the residents where needed,
whilst fully respecting their dignity and privacy.

The home currently has 19 single rooms, with expansion
both planned and currently under construction.
Residents are more than welcome to bring their own furniture
and personal belongings, to make their room more familiar
and comforting. |

Littlebourne House is privately owned and managed
by Marylin Hussein, who is a qualified trained nurse.
We are registered with Kent County Council Social Services
as a Residential Care Home. |

The house is situated in the centre of the village in Littlebourne,
close to the shops and the church and with a regular bus service
to both nearby Canterbury and the south coast, where we have
a beach hut which our residents enjoy during the Summer months.
The aim of the home is to provide both long and short stay
accommodation of high standard, with appropriate care, support
and advice. |
